Assistant Lettings Manager/Senior Lettings Negotiator

Independent Estate Agency based in delightful market town seeks Assistant Lettings Manager/Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their busy team.  As Assistant Lettings Agent/Senior Lettings Negotiator you will be responsible for managing existing portfolio of letting properties and building future business within the letting part of the business.

Supported by a full-time member of staff and office team, this is an exciting opportunity for a self- motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic individual wishing to progress within the industry.

The position of Assistant Lettings Manager/Senior Lettings Negotiator is offered on a permanent contract basis with competitive salary plus attractive OTE.  Immediate start available.

  • Overseeing marketing activities, carrying out valuations and liaising with Landlords
  • List new properties
  • Deal with Landlord issues and challenges on a daily basis
  • Building and expanding the lettings business and being aware of future opportunities that will enable the office to continue to expand
  • Arranging and carrying out valuations in order to gain new instructions
  • Drive and manage the maintenance requirements across the group property portfolio
  • Liaising with tenancy applicants during the referencing process and tenancy
  • Reporting to the Director on a daily basis as well as end of the month reporting

 

Skills/Attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Assistant Lettings Agent/Senior Lettings Negotiator:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a senior lettings role
  • Must have previous Valuation experience
  • Ability to produce all lettings administration tasks (ASTs, Gas safety certs, EPCs)
  • ARLA qualification would be preferred (not essential)
  • IT proficient
  • Driving Licence
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual with strong communication skills;
  • Experience and ability to generate new lettings instructions
  • Highly focused on client care
  • Enjoys working in a close-knit team and has a can do attitude

 

Location: Alcester

Hours of Work: Flexible

Salary: £20,000 p.a. to £25,000 p.a. with realistic OTE of £30,000 p.a. to £35,000 p.a.
