Cleaning Contract Manager

Established Facilities Management organisation seeks an experienced Cleaning Contract Manager to Provide operational support, interface with clients, as well as managing all directly employed staff including Area and Site supervisors.

Cleaning Contract Manager duties include:

  • Provision of operational support at contract level.
  • Operational planning at contract level with responsibility for contract performance and monitoring. 
  • Client interface.
  • Management of all directly employed staff including Area and Site Supervisors.
  • Management of budgets in liaison with the Operations Manager.
  • Collation and reporting of management information and the development of management systems.
  • Contact point for enquiries for company departments including sales, stores, administration, accounts, HR and payroll. 
  • Stock control - ensuring that sites have correct stock products and levels on site.
  • Provision and maintenance of Site Reference Manuals at all sites in designated area including Health & Safety documentation, Environmental documentation and COSHH data sheets.
  • Carrying out risk assessments as required and sending them back to the Health & Safety Focal Point.
  • Be aware of and proactive in following the Company Environmental Policy, report any noted non-conformances in respect of instructed Environmental procedures to Environmental Focal Point.
  • Attending new client site meetings, assisting with setup and provision of staff.  Liaising with HR regarding TUPE transfer.
  • Maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to clients and staff.
  • Use of computer system in accordance with companies’ procedures, including email.
  • Occasional tasks from the office at the discretion of the management and any additional ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Taking part in training and meetings as required.

Skills required as a Cleaning Contract Manager:

  • Previous contract manager experience (essential).
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Clean valid driving licence (essential).
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Confident team leader.
  • IT literate.
  • Able to work as part of a team.

 Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire.

Hours of Work: 0800/0900 to 1200/1300 & 1600/1700 to 2000/2100

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
