Projection Weld Setter Supervisor

Experienced Projection Weld Setter Supervisor required to join busy automotive manufacturing organisation, based in Redditch.  Offering competitive salary within a long established, respected company, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager and acting in a supervisory capacity, Projection Weld Setter Supervisor responsibilities will include:

• Setting a range of projection welders to spot weld or weld nuts and bolts to components
• Setting Robot welders
• Operating Robot / Projection welders when necessary
• Responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis
• Be the contact point for all team members
• Acting proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
• Lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals

• Training & Staff Capability
• Hours Control

Projection Weld Setter Supervisor must possess the following skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
• At least 2 years’ experience in setting projection / robot welders
• Have an understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 and their contribution to the business
• Able to communicate easily
• Good reading and writing skills

Location: Redditch

Hours of Work:  Mon to Thurs 7 am to 4 pm, Fri 7 am to 12 noon

Salary: £25,000 p.a. to £30,000 p.a. dependent upon skills and experience
