Customer Services Clerk

Established Logistics company requires a confident Customer Services Clerk, to join their office-based team.  Providing excellent customer service and performing administrative tasks, the role of Customer Services Clerk requires a People Person with excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT proficiency and willingness to learn.  Experience within the Logistics industry would be beneficial (not essential – as full training will be provided).

The role of Customer Services Clerk is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with full time hours and immediate start available.

Duties of Customer Services Clerk:

  • Manage customer queries (telephone/email)
  • Provide information and assist customers with their concerns and queries
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide suitable solutions
  • Maintain customer records and documentations
  • Communicate with other departments as needed to service customers
  • Keep updated with company policies and products to provide accurate information
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive and professional service
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling or filing when needed

Skills/Experience required by Customer Services Clerk:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Logistics industry (beneficial NOT essential)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • IT proficient
  • Organised, high attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to learn
  • Able to cope well under pressure
  • Own transport advantageous as poor public transport available to site

Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm

Rate of Pay: £13.30 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent
