IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician required to join a well-established specialist Information Technology Software and Service Provider to the UK Healthcare industry. Working within the Technical department, as IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing 1st line Product and Technical support to customers and employees, daily remote managed services to customers and once trained, to manage the implementation of new customers.

If you possess a minimum of two years’ experience (or more) of installing and supporting MS Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2022, providing 1st level Technical Support to customers (both over the phone and via remote support software), are proficient with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) & MS Teams and able to work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment, the role of IT Support Technician could be ideal for you.

IT Support Technician skills and experience required:


  • Experience of installing and supporting MS Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2022 (2years plus)
  • Experience of providing 1st level Technical Support to customers (2 years plus)
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) & MS Teams
  • Good customer interfacing and communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines


  • Web Server management and configuration using Windows IIS
  • Configuring and supporting Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, VPNs
  • Installing and configuring Networks (such as cabling, firewalls, routers, NAT, Access Rules)
  • Configuring and supporting Hyper-V
  • WordPress website configuration and maintenance
  • Knowledge of XML, HL7, HTML, EDIFACT.
  • Microsoft SQL database knowledge including TSQL

Location: Remote/Home Working and Office Based: Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours:      Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30

Salary:      £22,000 - £30,000 p.a. dependent upon experience
